Lapworth Architects

"We worked with Lapworth Architects on our home renovation and had an excellent experience throughout. They provided a complete one-stop service, supporting us with design, building control, and practical advice at every stage. We made several changes along the way, and these were always accommodated without any concern. I worked closely with Manraj, who was fantastic. His mindset of “this will be your family home and it needs to be perfect for you” really showed in the care and attention given to the project. The whole process felt well managed and reassuring. We’d happily recommend Lapworth Architects to anyone planning a renovation."

"We were in the middle of renovating our home and had originally appointed an architect to redesign the front and rear elevations. While we were more than happy with their structural plans their overall design was lacking creativity and curb appeal. We saw a stunning new build in our village and we found out it had been designed by lapworth Architects. We contacted lapworth Architects and spoke with the director, Michael, about our renovation concerns. Michael reviewed our existing plans and suggested new concepts and alternative finishes which totally transformed the exterior of our property. Michael also assisted us with sourcing suppliers for several internal elements of the project and proved to be an invaluable source of knowledge. I would highly recommend Michael and his team at Lapworth Architects. Their expertise and vision made all the difference to our renovation."

"I had an excellent experience with Lapworth Architects while working on our family's forever home which is a Victorian house in Kings Heath. Me and my wife worked closely with Mike. He was fantastic from start to finish. They expertly handled the planning permission process and worked closely with the conservation department to ensure everything was compliant with local regulations. One particular challenge they foresaw was the need for a sensitive approach to maintaining the character of our period home while making modern updates. Mike made sure we found the right balance, addressing this with great care. He recommended correct size bricks, timber fascias, decorative mouldings all of which ensured we preserved the houses historical integrity Another issue they handled brilliantly was sourcing a reputable builder. They guided us through that process, ensuring the builder understood the historical aspects of the house. Additionally, Lapworth managed the entire project from start to finish, which was invaluable in keeping everything on track. I highly recommend their services—they truly went above and beyond! Thank you."

"I cannot recommend Lapworth Architects highly enough. During the initial stages, we obtained several quotes, and although Lapworth was not the cheapest, I found them forthcoming and easy to communicate with. When planning your future home, especially a sizable project, this quality is invaluable. Once we confirmed our engagement with them, the team promptly conducted a thorough survey. They spent extensive time with me discussing my requirements and understanding my vision, while offering their expert opinions on what would and wouldn’t work well. They combined my ideas with their expertise and created a masterpiece, which was easily visualizable through the provided 3D renders. We then reviewed the designs together, made necessary tweaks, and prepared for submission. Throughout the entire process, they managed everything seamlessly, answering all questions that arose and making design amendments as needed. Nothing seemed like too much work for them; the team was always approachable and responsive, which is crucial. In summary, if you are looking for architects capable of handling projects of any size while still being attentive to your individual needs, Lapworth Architects is the firm you need. I have no doubt that even through the build stage, Lapworth will be on hand to offer advice and ensure everything is perfect. A personal thank you to Michael and Rob. Dav Singh"
