Modern Designs Driveways and Paving

"Fantastic service from start to finish. Great communication and understood fully what we wanted and polite and professional. The finished result of our block paving is brilliant and of a high standard! Completely transformed driveway with a fence. Very happy customers thank you again"

"Myles, Taylor and Runi have just finished our drive and we couldn’t be more pleased or impressed with the standard of workmanship. When we decided to have the drive done I researched suppliers and chose the 3 local tradesmen with 5 star reviews. Myles responded the same day and made an appointment to quote. The second supplier made an appointment and then forgot it. When he did come his quote was higher. The third supplier made an appointment and didn’t show or follow up at all. We received Myles’ quote the same evening that he visited. He talked us through the process and timings for the paving and tarmacing of our drive plus building a wall and replacing the current boundary fence with cement posts and new panels. The team arrived when they said they would and worked like troopers every day. You could see how much pride they had in their work. The detail and finishes on our wall posts and edging corners just emphasises what skilled craftsmen they were and how much they cared. So many people have commented on the finished drive and our neighbours have also shared how impressed they were with the team - not only their skills but their manners and dedication (as were we). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you Myles, Taylor and Runi. Great work!"

"I came across Modern Designs Driveways and Pavings through online reviews, and from the very first contact, Myles impressed me with his prompt response to my request for a quotation. He arrived on time for our appointment, immediately demonstrating professionalism and a clear understanding of my requirements. I especially appreciated the thoughtful alternatives he suggested, along with creative ideas to make the garden work beautifully for our family. The project began promptly, with James and Luke assisting throughout. They were extremely polite, hardworking, and clearly skilled in their craft. It was evident that they took great pride in their work, paying close attention to the finishing touches. Despite working in extreme heat, they remained punctual, tidy, and dedicated—never once cutting corners. The result is a calm, peaceful, and beautiful garden that I can now enjoy every day from my kitchen window. I’m truly grateful to Myles and his team for transforming the space so smoothly, and I would not hesitate to recommend them wholeheartedly."

"So happy with my new drive that Myles and his team fitted. Easy to deal with from start to finish and I’m so glad I chose them to fit it. Very good price point as well and can trust it will last a long time."

"Myles from Modern Designs came over to quote me to fix sinking paved patio. He provided details of what is causing the issue and what he will do to stop the sinking. I felt comfortable with his explanation and very competitive quotation, so hired him and his team to do the job. They came a few weeks later, removed the paving, added the missing hardcore and drainage together with sanded layer, then re-laid the existing paving bricks. The work completed is of very high standard and impressively clean, his team communicated very well. I would recommend Modern Designs 5*."
